If anyone still cares, try 12/28/90. Focus on Jerry's two nice solos, and the band interaction, which is really quite nice, particularly for the period, Jerry's voice notwithstanding.

Well, I've just run through most all the suggestions here, and the 6-11-93 is a fine version. But, the version that Grateful Dead Productions decided to put on the 'Beyond Description' box set is the one from 7/19/89 (Alpine Valley)- this version tops all versions that have been mentioned here. I think that the earlier versions are better (versions from say 89-90). Finally, the best I've ever heard was a filler on a tape of mine (which I've now lost). All I can recall is that the solo began on a distinct minor note and was very dark and intense. This version was from around 1990, and it's none of the versions previously mentioned here.
